The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) notes that for the last 4 years the number of violations to children has continued to increase. Categories of violence against children, including family violence, educational institutions and pornography and cyber crime. The main factors that make children vulnerable to sexual harassment are the characteristics of personality that sneezes from the perpetrators of sexual harassment, the behavior of children who are easily close to strangers, children who are passive, and children with poor family background. In this study the authors use SWOT analysis method to analyse various kinds of favorable, threatening, internal factors and external factors of online social media use by children. In this research helpful factor has score of 1280 scoring, a harmful factor has a score of 1330 scoring internal factors have a score of 1285 and external factors have a score of 1325. So that the authors concluded that the use of social media for children should not be done
