A survey of students utilization of Osun State University Libraries and the six campus namely: College of Humanities and Culture Ikire, College of Education Ipetu-Ijesa, College of Agriculture, Ejigbo, College of Social and Management Science Okuku, College of Law, Ife-Tedo, and College of Science and Engineering Main Campus Osogbo was carried out with 620 students randomly selected as respondents.
It was found that the majority of the students did not use library resources for various reasons. The study recommends the introduction of the “use of books and library” as a compulsory course for the students and an aggressive programme of “User Education” to be pursued with a view of improving reading habits of the students and to enhance greater utilization of resources.
